Copper Trails - Asymmetrical Tapestry
This piece is the first of a new series! It celebrates my love of copper, bronze metals, and lines. I have become acutely fond of how iron oxidizes in the red rocks that you often see in places like Zion, Arches, and Sedona. The warm rich tones have become a strong source of inspiration in my work, and I’m excited to watch it grow in this series !
Painted on rectangular canvas fabric with a raw edge. Bold curvy pipelines painted with bronze, and thinner angular lines painted with copper to fill and accentuate the space.
The painting
-100% cotton canvas fabric cut into an asymmetrical shape.
-Dimensions: first side: 35.5''x 28'' second side: 23.5''x 20''
-Painted with slightly shimmery copper and bronze acrylic paint, intentionally giving the piece a more metallic look.
-One of a kind original art work
All art is packed with great care by me. This painting will be rolled up and shipped in a cardboard mailing tube. Once received can be gently ironed on the cotton setting with a piece of paper towel between the iron and the fabric to protect the paint.
