Copper Trails - Asymmetrical Tapestry
This piece is the first of a new series! Inspired by my love of lines, copper colored metals, and the way iron oxidizes in red rocks found in places like Zion, Arches, and Sedona. The warm rich tones have become a strong source of inspiration in my work.
Painted on rectangular canvas fabric with a raw edge. Bold curvy pipelines painted with bronze, and thinner angular lines painted with copper to fill and accentuate the space.
The painting
-100% cotton canvas fabric cut into an asymmetrical shape.
-Dimensions: first side: 35.5''x 28'' second side: 23.5''x 20''
-Painted with slightly shimmery copper and bronze acrylic paint, intentionally giving the piece a more metallic look.
-One of a kind original art work
All art is packed with great care by me. This painting will be rolled up and shipped in a cardboard mailing tube. Once received can be gently ironed on the cotton setting with a piece of paper towel between the iron and the fabric to protect the paint.
